Bat Bombs

In 1942 Lytle S. Adama came up with an idea of utilizing bats to carry bombs to fire on the Japanese. Since he studied bats he knew they were capable of flying long distances while carrying heavy loads. Luckily the president and First Lady approved of the idea so they named the project X-Ray.

Adams worked together with scientists to see how the bat bombs would do. After multiple tests, they concluded that the bat bombs were more effective than regular bombs, but there was one problem. It was hard to train a bat to carry bombs and the US government decided they’d rather use their funds to support research for the atomic bomb.

Funneling Money to Dalai Lama

It’s hard not to love Dalai Lama, well, unless you’re the Chinese government. Even the CIA can’t get enough of him and his courageous Tibetan resistance fighters. In the 1960s the CIA allegedly sent the Tibetan Resistance millions of dollars including a large salary that Dalai Lama received for himself (which he has continued to deny). The funneling of money wasn’t because the CIA adored Dalai Lama, but because they desired to keep the political mentality of Dalai Lama and his resistance fighters alive and come up with a way for them to continue to resist against China’s political developments.
